State Qualifier Elkhorn WI

One heck of a weekend that had just about everything happen. A few highlights.

Mr.Eggers, yeah Mr. Dakota Eggers! This cat DOMINATED his class with a win and seems to climbing out of the Novice ranks fast! Great job dude! Pierce Gansen was on fire Saturday, Crashes and races Sunday with a bandaged hand that was basically useless for BMX and gets a 2nd. That is one tough kid! The Doctor of bad luck, Nick VonHolt made his mains on Saturday but the good luck ended quickly Sunday with a snub out down the first straight that sent him crashing hard ending his day in class. I'm sure the redemption bell has rung for the next time! Peyton Zielke, WOW, the little dude crushed it Sunday and we can call him, WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER! Swaneys are back on the track!! Time to shake off the winter rust and the girls did that! Emmy didn't give up to nip fellow teammate Kiana David at the line for 2nd. Ashton Swaney had some ups and downs getting used to a killer new Ssquared ride and Addy was killing it in the new colors!

So I knew putting theses 15 year olds on one team could spell disaster and it happened real quick this year. A full rack and three MaD team fast cats on the inside and one on the outside we all knew what was potentially coming! Most of the crowd was standing to see this full rack of hot rods rock it out of the gate and it didn't disappoint until the first corner. Out of the gate, MaD's Trevor Anderson out front and Teammate Trevor Krause trying to make it happen low, DFR rider Stahl rolling around the top of turn one and the rest fighting for a spot in turn one, you know it just had to happen!!! MAJOR PILE UP collecting MaD riders Krause, David, and Jacobs together along with a few others. As Trevor Anderson went on to win 15X with DFR colors in 2nd, the others got back up and sorted it out to finish. I was shaking before the race started and even more so after. Glad there wasn't any serious injuries.
